What is it about this player? Is he that good, or a one season wonder? Seems to me like a flavor of the month signing. Remember he was offered to Southampton for £2.5million last summer (or the summer before, i cant remember), so why all the fuss now?

The problem for Chelsea (and hilarious it is too) is that when clubs know they are interested in one of their players they pull their pants down, grease them up and aim for penetration* and mugs that they are or should i say the Ruski billionaire is he pays these extortionate prices. Chelsea F.C. are nothing but a circus and the day old Roman bails out i give them 3 months until liquidation (hurry up and •••• off Roman old chap!)

Mourinho has said that Drogba is of a similar class (and reminds him of) to thierry henry and impressed a great deal during Marseille's UEFA cup run last season.

He did look sensational last season, but how quickly will he settle in? I fear Kezman more than Drogba mearly because Kezman scored 108 goals in 122 appearances :eek: .

seems like a lot of cash to me, chelsea seem to spend more than is necessary, and the other clubs see them coming and know they can add several million on to the price. good player i'm sure but not worth that sort of money

Let me put it this way, Wayne to Arsenal about £6million, Wayne to Chelski??? about £10million please.

offered double what Juve offered for him. i can understand wanting to beat a price to make sure they get their man, but did they need to pay double (maybe up to £13million more)?
