Don't tell me, Manchester has been re-designated as part of Scotland in honour of Sir Whingeing Moaning Git?

There is no such person as 'Jermaine Mc'What's is name'. He is a bogus name in similar mould to Kevin Twaddle or Les Fridge.

I still have not recovered from the signing of Perry Digweed.

Looks a cracking player. Saw him crop up numerous times on Nationwide League Extra last season, and I was most impressed.

I don't know about Les Fridge, but Kevin Twaddle exists, plying his trade just down the road from me with Motherwell.

Les Fridge played a few games for Chelsea, but I think he got frozen out.

I have seen Jamie McSporran play.
He is extremely quick and scores some wonderful individual goals. He was not prolific last year, scoring only 9 goals in the league from 38 apps (6 of these as Substitute).

For a goalscorer from the lower divisions,Palace should consider Peter Thorne of Stoke who scored 24 League goals last season.

Who is he? My friend from wycombe says that we are looking at buying him. Could we have a player with such a stupid name?

He's actually quite good, but I'd have him just for the name!

And he is quite good by all accounts. We do another striker as well.

wasn't he in the news a couple of years for some reason?
its a difficult name to get wrong and i am sure i remember reading a big article in the paper....unlikely it was simply due to his transfer to wycombe!!!

I saw him play for Oxford City against Bromley Town once and he was the best player on the pitch. But that's not saying much. With a name like that you stick out.

He's not supposed to be a bad player, but he seems very injury prone. I believe he's got a broken arm at the minute, and he missed a lot of the first half of last season with Glandular Fever (which having had myself I wouldn't wish on anyone).
