What a perfect end to a remarkable season. I'm absolutely thrilled.
Had just a few http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/beer.gifhttp://www.cpfc.org/ubb/beer.gifhttp://www.cpfc.org/ubb/beer.gifhttp://www.cpfc.org/ubb/beer.gif. and wished to be among the travelling party.
Can't wait any longer for your reports on a great weekend at Tranmere .....

-beautiful weather
-10 stellas
-magnificant away support, 3500 approx
-Hugged Dean Austin on pitch at final whistle
-2-1 Palace!!
DOES LIFE GET ANY BETTER??!!
Todays support was brilliant. Still about 10 minutes from the stadium heard the deafening roar of 'Eagles' and 'stevie Coppells Red N Blue Army.
Stevie Coppell is without a doubt a palace living legend, lets rename the whitehorse after him!

At the end of the match the Palace supporters stayed behind. They kept chanting 'Stevie Coppell's Red 'n' blue army', and after what seemed like ages the man himself walked towards the away end. In the late afternoon sunshine he removed his jacket, and tossed it into the Palace supporters, who cheered him.

How many Palace were up for the weekend in Liverpool???? Walking around the Albert Dock area on Saturday pm we could hear chants of "Eagles" coming from somewhere, saw Mellor Out T Shirts all over the place. As for the night there were Palace everywhere, we asked a band in one pub to play "Glad All Over" - they wouldn't but reckoned they had been asked untold times through the evening. The atmosphere in Tranmere was something else, particularly the first half. I wander what Trolley made of the bouncy bouncy lark? http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/furious.gif

What a brilliant day out. In the pub by 10.00 am. Great match, well maybe not footballing great but we won. Fantastic atmosphere afterwards. It was good of Tranmere to let Steve come out as it was Tranmere's day really. Mind you I think that was the only way they were going to get us out of the ground. I don't know if anyone went on a coach. We had our own and after the game one of Tranmere's top crowd control guys came on the coach and thanked us. He said the Palace fans were the best behaved they'd had up there all season. Nice touch I thought.

F'kin excellent day. Forget what Trolley made of the Bouncey Bouncey thing. What would he make of Little Al and TAK going for a swim in the dock, up on to the breakfast TV weather map and pretending to take a dump on Brighton.

I don't mean to be rude Lin but what game were you watching? I thought it was classic end to end entertainment.

I agree it was exciting and kept the adrenalin flowing. I did say it was a great match. I really meant in terms of passing, skill etc. it wasn't great. On the other hand I'd been out the night before until 2.00 perhaps I was Just a incy wincy bit too p**ssed to see properly.

A herculean effort by little al and TAK which raised a massive £43 for the Supporters Trust and a no less herculean effort from Stephenson Soundbyte for putting his hand in his pocket and donating to generously to the cause http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

Great weekend. Spent several hours down the gym working scouse beer off yesterday. Great
way to meet some of you properly. Liverpool
is a great place and will be looking for a return there next year.
With Millers and Monty's performances though I could go through the whole summer without being near a Karaoke.

I second that emotion. NO miller, don't take that as a cue for a song.

Whilst I happen to be the one who thought the drink wasn't "THAT bad !" - if the chooclate tastes anything similar - then I really wouldn't bother !

You are all just drunken bums. None of you saw me taking a drink I'll wager!
Peter, when have you ever been to the gym?? lol. Great day, what a shame we can't always have such great away support in such numbers. Roll on August.

The weekend had caught up with me by about 6pm on the sunday. So I'd like to thank the Staffordshire Reds and Monty for keeping me awake on the journey home. So you drunk that Unicum as well ? ( and I see that the swear filter has blocked out half of the name. Very apt in my opinion ).
That stuff has to be the vilest drink I have ever tasted. Melted Black Bin liners would have had a more subtle flavour. In fact it was so bad that I want to buy a bottle so if anybody knows if and where this vile concotion is sold in London then please let me know.
Top weeked by the way. And Monty's singing was very good but something tells me that she will not be singing very much this week http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/wink.gif

Only just seen this. Oh no he hadn't!!! He was still in the Firkin pub four hours later! Not only that but he was a bit put out, after three days solid drinking, to get a call on his mobile from Capital Gold Sport wanting him to do a live interview on the Lim saga. I wonder if I'm the only person ever to turn down their fifteen minutes of fame on account of being "a bit too pished mate!" (and someone please tell me I wasn't on air when I said that!!)

I can see Unicum being the new cult drink of the Millennium.
Red Bull and Unicum anyone?

Unicum alone will blow your head.
Unicum plus Red Bull and you're an a rampage......
