Several BBS members ended up on the pitch at Tranmere, after the game. Of course I'm far too polite to say who...

Swapping shirts????? nicking them more like!. I saw him get, at least, one players shirt, one players T-shirt and Deano's shin pad.

He obviously picked up a few tricks from the scousers on Saturday in the bar at the Adelphi (when he wasn't damaging their ears with his dodgy singing http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/wink.gif)

You forgot Matthew Gregg's towel and Craig Foster's Nike cap.

Maidstoned got the piece de resistance though with Steve Coppell's jacket.

I didn't get the piece de resistance....Matt Gregg's shirt - No name , no number, no sponsor!

£5 anyone?

How many times did Coppell twirl that jacket above his head? He must have been watching too much of that sad excuse for half-time entertainment.

Don't know who he was but the bloke that had the skills of a rugby inside centre when he side stepped the steward to run on and get Deanos boots was brilliant. Whoever you are I owe you a pint for providing me with such an amusing moment. Well done!

Would you believe ammiller got that as well, but gave it to some little kid with a broken arm sitting in front of us.
I was wondering if it was against the rules not having a number on the shirt.

My mate ran on at the final whistle. Three stewards grabbed him, man handled him and through him back over the hoardings. He wouldn't have minded but the other 19 got on without any trouble!

He got on eventually though!

If you'd hung around a bit longer you probably could have had Frampton's shirt off his back & he wouldn't have noticed http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/wink.gif

The young lad who recieved Matt Gregg's shirt was still wearing it with pride when he got off the Junior's coach back at Selhurst Park.

I'm not sure which shirt the kid got, the one I got was torn off by Gregg and thrown in the crowd straight to me. Covered in siht and sweat.

Unless of course the 'kid' you're referring to is Mr Cris Lehmann who was given the shirt for safekeeping but promptly put it on, and kept it on until he got home on Monday!

I don't think he's that little though and he certainly didn't have a broken arm.

What was in his pocket??

A train ticket from Reedham station, a hotel credit card receipt, the player of the year results he preumably had to read out at the awards disco, the business card of the manageress of a nightclub on Purley Way, and one or two other trivial bits and bobs

The kid who got the shirt was the son of Jim Bowen on the BBS.
I don't know how Matt had 2 shirts - maybe he was wearing 2, or he threw one in the crowd, and came back out with another shirt.

But I do remember he stood there with his arms in the air so I could physically remove it.
