View Full Version : Reading Friendly Meet Up

Ok - since there seems to be a number of us who are planning on "breaking in" to this one ! - shall we make some civilised arrangements ?
For anyone who doesn't know - the new training ground is located about 10-15 minutes from Beckenham Junction station - which means you can also use tramlink from Croydon to get (almost)there.
There also happens to be an O'Neills pub literally two seconds round the corner - plus a cab office in the station - so how about a lunchtime meet up in the pub as a starting point ???

That O'Neills is quite good.

Should be about 2 or 2.30 I think. Will try and confirm that nearer the date.
Is this definately at the new training ground or Streete Court (now we have 2 !!)

good point axie!! - we go from possibly having no ground at all to a ground and 2 training grounds - amazing..
maybe they'll now put back the time of the reading game so that those of us who have to work can go as well.. http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

Nah - why would they wanna do that ? http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/sarcblink.gif
Would hope it is still to break in the new ground - but will obviously check on this nearer the date.

That's a shame because I would have liked to have seen a few of you at my place, after the match.
11-07-2000, 04:19 AM
Oh well - here we go again - another game now to take in (against Kuwait) plus one that we don't know now when it'll be !
11-07-2000, 06:01 PM
So Alan, are we playing Kuwait and Reading now? Do u know the Kuwait date/venue?
11-07-2000, 08:47 PM
I'm not sure what's happening yet - I'm waiting to see if Gazza finds out any more since he's near the training ground !
If he doesn't - don't worry - I will contact Terry Byfield at Palace and find out the week before, what's happening about these two fixtures.
Watch this space ....
