I'm more of an older games fan. I'd have to say
"Sensible World of Soccer" crap graphics but brilliant gameplay!!

Oh its a classic! I've been addicted to it recently! Got Palace promoted, finished 3rd and won the FA cup now just beaten Real Betis in the Quater final of the cup winners cup!

Top Scorer: Hugo Porfirio 46goals in 40 games. (For Palace)

It has to be the Championship manager series. But for playable footy games it's definately ISS.

I dont get why pwople think ISS is better than fifa, ive played both for long periods of time and the latest iss (pro evolution) comes nowhere close to fifa2001 on the playstation

Is it really? Because I have a DC and having played UEFA Striker, SWWS, SWWS Euro and Virtua Striker I had given up on decent footie games!
Does it compare to ISS?

ISS is so much better than the Fifa series. The gameplay is a lot better and it gets nowhere near as boring as Fifa. I have both Fifa 2001 and ISS on my PS2 and I never even play Fifa. Every year they say it's better so I get it and I wish I never do on the end.

UEFA Challenge on the PC is brilliant. Very realistic.

Probably not. Its a bit scary at first (cos of the controls and commentry-Barry Venison) and a lot about it is flawed but it is SO FUN! You can score amazing goals, and all the players and teams look right. Heres a test for you if you get it:

Ipswich Vs BArcelona on medium setting. Its so hard!

Not trying to plug a games shop but i got it from here:

Can't really compare CM with the others.... they are so different. That said, ISS kicks FIFA's arse all over the shop...

Has anybody forgotten LMA Manager on the playstation. To me that is one of the best management games for any console. I think it has to be one of the hardest on any of the consoles!!! Excellent game.

The've said this about every single one of the Fifa series. They all look amazing in graphics but then I play them and the're almost exactly the same in gameplay. To be fair. They can't change it to much cos that just wouldn't be cricket...I mean Fifa.
