Sure HTOSelhurst. This is my plan. The palace squad is very bad so you really are looking at one season of restructuring. Get rid of all the ****e players like ROdger, Fullarton, Austin, buy Ian Walker from Spurs or Alan Kelly (cant reember team, think blackburn or sheff utd), you also must buy Stan Collymore for about 3/4 of his value from Leicester hes very good in D1, also snap up a player called Mark Tobin on a free transfer (hes only 13/14 years old) hes wicked in a few years, also try to buy Tonton Zola Mokouko from Derby (also young but wicked). Play a simple formation like 442 or 4312 and STICK WITH IT cos ure players need consistency, theyll learn to play the system as in real life. Get yourself a decent enough backroom also thats important. Im sure theres more i could tell but hope thats some help, it got me to Champions of Europe!

Because the defenders are usually quite poor, I usually start with 3 at the back. I always get David Collins, send my scouts to Scandinavian countries and check out the availability of Marcus Bent, Dean Keates, Alan Pouton and others I know to be good but rarely get. The annoying thing is its really hard to get the top quality players off other Div One clubs. Always keep an eye on Man Utd reserves and other clubs like that, there are always gems there.

As for coaches, Moyes and Sealey have been mentioned before. You can get them if you offer them a player-coach role. Renegotiate their contract when they have joined if you dont want them getting upset they arent actually playing.

I couldnt tell you either, they are always crap for me too. High ratings and no goals. Last year Freedman scored just ONE goal and so I was only too happy to sell him for 8m.. he won Fan's Player of the Year twice so I assume he does something good. I would partner Forsell with him, Morrison tends to be a late developer (if he ever does develop).
