Ticket refunds - why ?

Has anyone here asked for their season ticket money back rather than having it transferred to CPFC 2000 (as cited by SP in another thread) ?

If so, why ? I don't really understand.

Unless people have now decided they can't afford the season ticket.

I am flummoxed and bamboozled.

I recieved the same letter in the post last week. I believe that in effect we are paying our money into a 'new company' ie Crystal Palace 2000 rather than CP 1986 Ltd. and legally have to be informed.

I think you misunderstand my point.

Indeed, the money is being transferred from CPFC 1986 to CPFC 2000, but we are given the option of having our money refunded instead and, according to Paterson, some people have opted for that.

Why are people who ordered season tickets with CPFC 1986 now wanting their money returned ? Do they not support Crystal Palace anymore ? "Oh, Crystal Palace 2000 just isn't the same". Weird.

Those who are pro-Lim and anti-Jordan or live at Gillingham are the only ones I can think of. It does seen a bit weird though.

Anyone know what the season ticket sales are up to this year?
