It is steep but they need the money and they know a lot of us will fork out - including me.

Not keen this year. Booked myself in a cricket match instead. I am the new Botham.

What a bunch of jokers! £12 is way too much to folk out for 90 minutes of relative safety(while Palace walk it) - They should let you in for free, if you actually make it to the ground unscathed! Then you have the joys of the 'friendly' walk round the ground on the way back to the station.
Been there, done that, not pleasant, not going.

Very steep, although I did pay £15 for Leyton Orient vs Hartlepool last season (and you think we had to watch some bad games). However, the New Den is only 10 minutes walk away (and 3 minutes sprint back) to a reasonable pub opposite New Cross Gate station with a very large beer garden and lots of female students from the college next door. Anyone for a meet-up there?
BIG LETTER!

Said after the 4-1 the other year that, funny as it was watching Keller **** up so spectacularly, I would not go back, certainly in colours, and I am sure as hell not going to pay £12 just so that they can kick off after the boys thrash the arse off them.

Funny, I've been there twice for pre-season friendlies and neither experienced nor seen any sort of trouble. Maybe I've been lucky so far.

I have heard that the friendlies are just that... friendlier...
however i also had said that unless it was an important game I wouldn't be too inclined to visit after the last time...
still - depends - if I've got nothing better to do..... http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/smile.gif

Come on people this is another opportunity to see OUR team play. How can you say you don't fancy going, what if the players said that?

maybe one difference is the players get paid and we have to get paid??? they don't have to put up with quite so much hassle as us??
maybe??

Will go to Crawley, but def give this one a miss. How come a decent little side like Crawley, with a decent ground, charge only £6, yet scum like Millwall with their concrete jungle charge £12. Stuff em

Twelve quid to go to Millwall for a friendly? Stuff that...I'd rather go shopping in the Whitgift Centre...
£12?!!!!!
Add travel expenses for me (train) and it costs more like £20...then there is a half time coffee. What will that cost me? A fiver?!
I really wanna go now that I am down south again and in a position to do so. But even soooooo!
Yeah I reckon I will be there...maybe!

Was there last year and the only trouble we had was the police wouldn't let anyone stand. I walked to the ground alongside many Millwall fans and had no trouble at all. Granted i took the offer of a lift back after we stuffed em but......
