train details
18minutes past the hour from Euston changing
at Preston. 14day advance is 26pounds, with a railcard adult 17.50 and kids 2each.
most of the cheap tickets are sold for the
8.18 and 9.18.try the 7.18 gets you to Blackburn for roughly 11.15 knowing virgin trains slightly later...

Being a rather nosey old duffer,I overheard some young cad say to his friend the other day :
"I would NEVER travel VIRGIN - They dont go all the way " !!!
This rather reminds me of a T shirt which I saw a girl wearing which said :
