Why oh why oh why. As a northern eagle I was delighted last year to find out that the game with Huddersfield clashed with my birthday weekend and the Bank Holiday weekend. Of course, I know our form at the chip pan stadium is beyond poor but I still had high hopes of a good start to a great night out. Pah. Now I'm sure it's going to happen again.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Hopefully not to me - it's my birthday this Sunday!

Palace seem to never play on my birthday. The only time that my birthday (30th April) has come around since I started supporting Palace (January 1990) was in 1994. I thought we were going to win the championship on my birthday, but no, they move the game to the Sunday!

I’m going to hit the big four O the Friday before the Sheff. Utd. home game, and I know that my nearest and dearest have got something secret planned (b@stards!). I just hope that I’m in a fit state to make it to Selhurst the next day!!!!

Last year we made it Naaargh for my birthday celebs, this year we've got the squatters on my birthday (away, I will be sitting in my usual seat!).

Only having a birthday once every 4 years doesn't help. My only recollection of match falling on my actual birthday was home to Norwich in 1992.

Because the official TV crew didn't turn up until half time, I ended up in the gantry videoing the first half on a hand-held Police Crowd Control camera.

There were 6 goals in the first half with Norwich leading 4-2 at the break. My tape was shown on ITV the following day and Elton Welsby took the right p1ss out of the quality - the barsteward.
