Galpins cars, corner London and Galpins Rd. Norbury can do the journey much faster.

I'd say more like 48 or 49 Alan. Depends what type of shoes you are wearing and which way the wind is blowing.

WEARING A PAIR OF COZY CLASSICS MIGHT DISTRIBUTE YOUR WALKING SPEED AND GENERATE ENOUGH GLIDE TO SAVE VITAL SECONDS

Make sure you have Breezers for the walk.

Reckon I might pip you in 47 - but it would depend how many of Chocky's "breezers" I had

from Pollards Hill at the posh end.
There's a posh end of Norbury? I never found it.

How about the all the big houses surrounding the sylvan oasis that is Pollards Hill rec?
If they're not posh, I really don't know what is.
Lovely views from there too...

Samo,
You really must be more precise. It really depends on where about in Norbury you are talking about. There could well be a 50P or £1 difference depending on where you are starting out.

Quite right, Trolley...there's the world of difference between walking from the Graveney 'River' on the northern boundary of Norbury and walking from Pollards Hill at the posh end.
I can tell you its about two miles from the traffic island in Norbury Court Road to Selhurst Park as I always used to walk this for a home game...never could rely on the 50 bus...
