Yesterday I recieved £64m for one of my players. Just wondering who's got more? Daniel?

Yes of course i do.

I posted them on another thread about the 2 players to Inter and Milan for £100m.

But as i deleted the game.. :(

It was Michael Carrick in season 5 to Inter for £50m up front and then the rest after appearances. Then Scott Edwards (generated) in season 12 to Milan for £50 up front and the rest after apps.

Also, i set a new transfer record for myself on sunday i think it was. Bought Shevchenko for £30m, he has scored 7 goals in 13 games and is learning the language quite well. I expect big things from him!!!

Biggest I've done is £10m, but the biggest I've seen in the game was £29m for a Dutch defender called Dreissen.

I turned down £25m for my star striker Neil Midgley, after Juventus bid for him.

I sold Jean Phillip Javary to Man Utd for £10m, then bought him back a year later for £2.7m, after he flopped. Some players seem to fit systems, and while Javary was a star for my 3-5-2, he was awful at Utd, and they were only to glad to sell him back. He's now a star again, and my first choice in midfield.

I bought another top striker, Saglamoglu, for £40,000 in my first season, sold him after seven seasons to Wolves for £1.5m, then bought him back two seasons later for £300,000. He's still only 28, and is now my 5th choice, back-up striker, despite class stats.

Dreissen or Driessen?? Whats his name? I have looked in the database and have only found 2 of then, Jay and Roel Driessen ... both old guys. Born 1969.

Midgley is alright, at Ipswich?

Javary is on a free in my database, he doesn't look too good i am afraid :(
Saglamoglu is at GAIS and he looks poop too.

Am playing 2000/01 on the Mac, and my mate is playing it on the PC. Both playing as Rushdens.

We've both bought Saglamoglu, right at the start of the game, and he's done well, especially for me. Midgley, another I bought from the start. In his 9th season for me, and the best striker I've found apart from Marvin Brown and Sigporsson.

Not sure of the spelling of Dreissen -first name Ruud, Holland international in mine, at PSV or Ajax to start with, but might be created by the Mac after a few seasons, not sure. Defender. He's about 25 in the game now, so might be 17ish at the start.

Javary starts at Brentford, with naff stats, but buy him, and nurture him, and you've got a great midfielder on your hands. Same as Martin Rowlands and Gareth Graham. The creators like the Bees.

A few players on the Mac are different to the PC, you sometimes can't find PC ones on the Mac version and vice-versa

You can just bid that much, if you were Milan too.. i know. But i thought the pic was of relevance.

£43m's my biggest sale

Dan, you prob have the updated database? Bees sacked JPJ after 6 months for kicking Folano in a reserve match... he'd barely played and had got quite fat :D but on the orig he's a god, prob by reputation, he was apparently captain of the France Schoolboys team that had Anelka in it

I haven't got far enough in CM03/04 to make any really big sales. Biggest so far was AJ to Rangers in my first 2 weeks as boss for £3mill + performance related + sell on. Give me some time and I might get a few biggies.

It's much harder in CM 03/04 to recieve so much for a player. Most I've got is £4.5m plus Steven Caldwell for AJ. Been offered about £10m for Wayne though.

I sold Routledge to Real Madrid for £20 million during my second season in one game. That was quite impressive considering he hadn't even played in the top flight.

Why wouldn't you sign a new contract? Call yourself a Palace fan;)

Wayne is a star on the right for me. He's up to £10.75m so I could expect perhaps £15m if I sell him but he's young, bluddy good and most of all - staying put because he gets around 18 assists per year along with good ratings.

If anyone is looking for a fantastic striker, Nathan 'the duke' Ellington is the man.

I accidently gave him ambition and was too lazy to make him have palace as his fav club
