Plays Everton, picks up a ban, misses Stoke, 10 days rest and destroys Brighton.

:D

Has three bookings, so two away from a ban.

We should have had him limp on for the first two games of his injury period and get yellows - then sub him off.

Damn, why didn't we play him standing for a minute or two the game after he got injured and have him take off his shirt or deliberately handle the ball to get yellow carded, then promptly substitute him.

Could he not have been a sub and called the ref a **** from the bench....

GreatGonzo 07-11-2017 05:24 PM

Just checked the FA website and it concurs that he is not 1 away.

Puncheon is on 4, as are Williams and Davies for Everton. Of interest to us might be Joe Allen is 1 away for Stoke who meet Brighton. Duffy @ Brighton has 3 so could pick up 2 in his next 2 games with any luck. Cabaye and Dann on 3 for us too.

2) Are they taking the p!ss with the facial expressions ,
3) Finally, and most importantly, has Mutch had a hair transplant?

This is only good news if he comes back with more desire than before he got injured..

Everything is building towards our first away win coming at Brighton.

And when I say everything, I mean everything other than the form guide and all rational thought.

Thank ****

Will be v interesting to see Roy’s first choice 11. I suspect we will see Benteke and McArthur come in and RLC and Schlupp dropped. Ward left back.

So the sun might come up tomorrow?

P.S. for SP: how about finding a decent back-up forward in early January, not to mention a first XI 'keeper?
