west eagle 07-07-2017 09:13 PM

King William 07-07-2017 09:16 PM

Good point, and if there is any space in Whitehorse "family stand" 55 for dad and lad.
Sad times

Would be 55 if you could just buy Chelsea tickets on their own, but you have to buy another game at the same time :(

Unless you're an overseas member of course

It's why a bigger ground is so desperately needed.

Prices would not go down

Disgraceful. Sorry, has to be said.

Stockport_Eagle 08-07-2017 07:30 AM

Price of a pint x10 = price of football ticket

More or less has been the same rule of thumb for as long as I can remember.

Of course the underlying point is that everything goes up in price, not just football tickets. We can't all consider ourselves happy when the value of our house goes up so we're quids in (I know not everyone has this benefit), then moan about 50 for the Chelsea game.

Weatherspoons are doing 1.99 for Bud Lite. We generally do football light at home. Twenty is plenty, especially as our income now exceeds a tenth of a billion* every year.

*not rupees!

I'm not sure Bud Light counts as beer though

Bloody hell, yes you are right.

If I ever had to give up season ticket I really can't see doing many home games...just wouldn't pay those prices

I was never sure that under Pulis we could have considered that as football ;)

I don't recall the last time the theatre was zero degrees outside in the cold, rain seeping through the roof, treading in piss in the toilets and having shit and barf not cleared out of the toilet bowl, lol.

Add in a couple of huge pilons and 25 minutes half time taken for waiting for beer and drinking time, seems like a bargain!!

I'm in the Stephenson area and there aren't many tickets available. Had the same people around me for years, so very much a season ticket section.

Two friends moved in there last season and they could only get near a pair of STs at the front (so can be rained on), with a post beside them.

Single tickets might be available, dotted around.

Come and watch Carshalton instead and you can have a pint in a Camra pub of the year :p
