Greavsie - "It could only happen in this country"

Thick c*nt.

Palace bit starts at 13:38 and ends at 18:18.
Best part is seeing Brighty's winning brace at Old Trafford.
Most disturbing part is seeing the size of the players' shorts.

At the risk of sounding very old.

Some of our younger fans will not really understand the "adventure" of Old Trafford in the eighties.

Totally unrecognisable as the ground today!

Went mental when that goal went in :lux:

That brought back a few memories not least the idiotic comments made by Saint 'n' Greavsie who thought that they had the wit and in touch feel for what the common man thought about when it came to football. F~~kwits!

The type of crud that we had to put up with on TV in the Eighties where the media viewed football supporters as dribbling cretins unable to deal with the games real issues of the day.

Sums them up brilliantly.

This would be Greavsie on the Palace V Stoke game;

'Cash strapped Palace are in the championship and at home whereas Stoke well established in the premiership. Difficult to call, Its the FA Cup so anything can happen'.

God knows what he was paid for his expert analysis and knowledge.

Reckon that'll be The Sun's preview for tomorrows game. Somethings never change.

I think some of you are putting a 2013 view on a video from 1989.

It was actually considered quite a novelty to play away at Selhurst against Charlton and Wimbledon, and quite amusing.

Agree the analysis was fairly poor.
