Pape Souaré discussion

Not sure how serious it is but this seems to be why he was not involved on Saturday.

EDIT: Unrelated to being left out of the side against Middlesbrough. Accident happened on Sunday.

Accident was yesterday I believe. Looks pretty serious. Cut out and air lifted to hospital. LBC describing it as life threatening, but of course they don't know for certain.

Unrelated if this is correct:

At least one person has been injured in the crash between J3 and J4 on the M4 on Sunday (September 11) afternoon

He should probably stop posting videos to social media whilst he's driving..

maestro 12-09-2016 07:47 AM

Hoping for a quick recovery

Really not sounding good from early reports on here. Hope it isn't too serious. Cheers for clarifying the date of the accident, in my shock I must have just assumed this as to why he didn't play any part on Saturday.

CA saying its not life threatening, still no clue if its him tbh

Blue Jay Eagle 12-09-2016 07:52 AM

Terrible news. Advertiser reporting injuries as NOT life threatening - pray this is true.

If it is Souare that was badly hurt then I'm surprised the news is only breaking this morning

anti-addick 12-09-2016 07:56 AM

Speedy recovery get well soon son.

Zohar's Penalty 12-09-2016 07:56 AM

There is a picture of the wreckage and if it's genuine I'm amazed he's survived it. Get well soon!!

stinky 12-09-2016 07:58 AM

It's his car. It's the same reg plate. Car looks as bad as it does as the roof would have been cut off to get him out.

elgin eagle 12-09-2016 07:58 AM

The car looks a right mess if it was his.

Malarkey 12-09-2016 07:59 AM

**** **** ****

Come on Pape, hope you recover fast.

Navigation 12-09-2016 08:00 AM

Jumping to conclusions but if the report is true and the accident was on the M4, the fact he's in an East London hospital may mean it was too serious to take him to a local hospital. Fingers crossed that he's OK.

Air ambulance tends to go to kings or ucl. Ucl has a helipad

Sceagle 12-09-2016 08:04 AM

Likely that the doors were shut electronically and therefore they cut the roof off. He wasn't in an accident where the roof was taken off!
