ANDYEAGLE 31-08-2017 08:25 PM

I thought it was October. None the wiser.

andyocpfc 31-08-2017 08:28 PM

Wasn't he injured at the back end of last year and most injuries (like Murray) normally are a year meaning he wouldn't be available until probably January.

JAS78 31-08-2017 08:31 PM

I like the little I've seen and he's popped up with 2/3 important goals but overall this has been a total disaster with no light at the end of the tunnel

rainbow_child 31-08-2017 08:47 PM

Someone mentioned on here that Mark Bright had told them around January.

He really needs a run without injury now to work out what he really is made of

cantspell 31-08-2017 09:03 PM

Just a run would be good

I read Jan somewhere ....

Hence us having 1 fit striker til jan is madness.

Someone posted he has worked out at half a million quid per game based on wages and fee so far.

3 or 4 decent appearances aside i think hes one of the most over rated players in our history.

That was when he could start training again, FDB said beacuse of the type of injury he has to be eased back in, so Christmas time really

CamberleyEagle 01-09-2017 06:55 AM

Hope Wickham's not going to be seen as our saviour.

I see him more as one of the early nails in our coffin - expensive transfer fee, long contract, massive wages, rarely fit and only occasional glimpses of quality when he is fit.

On the plus side though, great footballer hair and tattoos though so he at least looks the part.

MFBias 01-09-2017 08:13 AM

Our Striking options are:
Benteke
Wickham (Injured till next year)
Ladapo ( Untested)
Dann (Defender)

You could potentially look at Sako, but another player who struggles for fitness.
Even if Wickham returns in Jan, it will take at least half a dozen games to bring him up to speed.

How many times have we asked this question since he signed ? Seems like a reoccurring monthly question.
