The Viz Thread

Some references to Viz Comic on a few threads (mostly by me!) but rather than derail existing threads, I thought the great comic deserved a thread of its own. What was your favourite character/strip?

Mine was a one off strip called "Arse Farm" where a farmer grew arses in fields. He had to fend off his arch rival who had a "Homeosexual Herb garden" (Basically a mobile trolley with a few herbs on it and what looked like the village people) He would attempt to get his lads into the Arse Farm so they could enjoy the crops!

So bloody surreal, the people who wrote it were definitely on something, a classic of Roger Irrelevant proportions. :p

Not a particular character, but the product/gift adverts:

Some of the strip titles still make me smile.

Tubby Tucker, the big fat...person

Captain Morgan and his Hammond Organ

Nobby's Piles

I love Viz and still buy it on occassion purely for the Letter pages and the news stories. The comic bits are generally crap

Always buy the Viz and Private Eye Annuals for Christmas. Nice accompaniment to the Port....

The Bottom Inspectors were my favourite, when inspecting a ladies bottom one time they said " you seem to have quite a small bottom, perhaps a little bit too small " your wife has a flabby bottom with a pimple on the left buttock , we're not doing very well today are we Mr Smith, now it's your turn for us to look at your bottom, you haven't wiped your bottom properly!

Roger Mellie the man on the telly or Paul McWhicker the tall vicar.

Havent read it for years, but it used to be a must purchase. Buster Gonad, Raffles the gentleman thug, Cockney Wanker, Fat Slags, Eight Ace, Sid the Sexist were all brilliant. The outrage over Thieving Gypsy Bastards was funny too. :)

Is this allowed on here? My old man had it.

"Do you like fruit pet? Well suck me cock, it's a peach"

Haven't read it for probably 20+ years, but my favourite used to be called something like 'Modern Parents' who had a boy who they made wear girls clothing and do all sorts of hippie stuff.

Loved top tips.

Always spot Fat slag wannabees on Friday and Saturday nights.

Remember one particular Fat slag episode where one shouts to the other while being shagged 'hold my bag of chips' ( maybe it was a regular line? ) and therefore often want to go up to a lookalike and say 'will you want me to hold your bag of chips later?'
