Thanks to an army of volunteers attacking the pitch with garden forks this morning today's match against Whitstable went ahead. After an even first half The Hamlet looked a much better side in the second half - though perhaps it was attacking the blizzard that helped - and ran out 3-0 winners. Decent crowd considering the weather - 530 (think I heard).

The pitch doesn't help a footballing side so Tuesday night's match could be a lottery.
