Dropped on my doormats today from simply games

9/10 in edge for ridge racer

TW have changed the swing! Very miss and hit ( if yourre lucky) havnt tried my Kinec t yet but it's trying at every turn to sell me stuff- shameful
Best graphics yet- no pros to beat to get ur skills up and the tiger challenges
Don't gain u anything- but it's all about coins! Resisted the urge so far

I'm finding hitting the ball annoying
It normally goes where I want it but you swinging quite afew times to get that initial contact! Any tips?

It's ok Neil I had a faulty controller- all good
Do you let caddie set up shots? Any other tips?
Finding this pin rubbish abit confusing- are u using them?

I'm occasionally using the caddy, but only in some of the more troublesome training events/sponsor challenges.

Not using pins at all. Seems a bit too much like cheating to me mate. All in all, I'm finding it more relaxing (if that's possible) than 12.

Is that you that's sent me a f/r? I generally don't accept them if I don't know who it is any more.

What happened to you sticking with 12 then Neil?

Played the demo of 13 and didn't like it one bit. Sticking with 12 as I spent out on all of the extra courses and it's what my friends have too so once Ardeo get's his arse into gear and buys the extra courses we'll have more than enough to keep us interested for a while. Think the next Tiger game I buy will now be on the next set of consoles.

Chris, I spent some time with the pre-release as I'm a season ticket subscriber. Didn't like the demo but like the full version once you get used to the changes. Love the Country Club option and I'm a sucker for golf and a new game when it comes down to it.

I like the idea of the country club, hopefully they'll keep that for future releases, I have spent too much dosh on 12 and it's good enough for what I need it for.

played it with the kinnect. other than making the round of golf take 3 times as long (mainly due to the fact it is a ball-ache to aim with your hand) I really didnt think it added much to it.
