To the previous posts on the other page, I cannot stand KSI, I think his videos are terrible, and his humor is terrible.

And, not long till FIFA 13 now, just over 2 months, looking forward to getting it.

Got this for my birthday a few weeks ago along with a PS3.

Currently half way through my first season with Palace on 'world class' and struggling so much for consistency. I will win a couple, draw and then lose a couple and often concede late equalisers/winners so get less out of a game than I should do.

Sitting in 12th about 8 points off the playoffs (assuming it has the playoffs) and just into the January window where I plan on selling a lot of the reserve players. Signed Makinwa from Lazio on deadline day who has top scored with 11 goals. Scannell has 6 and Easter has 5. Most of the midfielders have chipped in with 1 or 2 goals and my youthful centre midfield duo of Jon Williams and Nick Powell is a force to be reckoned with when fully fit (which is rare)

dan27. Yes it does have playoffs. As the game is new you will probably get used to it and do a lot better in the second half of the season and get promoted (thats what I did)

I've just finished my second season with Palace. Was a boring midtable season and once midtable and out of all the cups I just sim-ed the last 12 games as were pretty much dead rubbers. Must have come in about 12th.

The board weren't impressed that I didn't win a single game in the Euro League (EUROPA League to us), qualified for this after finishing runners up in the FA Cup in first season, had to rest players for the final as they schedualed the final playoff semi the day after the final! Anyway thought 2010 were a bit harsh on me for that.

My tip for season mode is - don't lose Clyne!! His contract ran out and he seams to have been deleted from the game or something I can't find where he's gone. Didn't have enough wages to renew his deal as my prem wage budget came in the day after it ran out!

Also note that people will buy all your shit players. I got 750k for Andrew. Cadogan went for £1.1m end of second season so its always worth offering people a new contract.

There's some keeper that is 77 on a free transfer at the start of the game. He only wants 2k a week wages and you can flog him for £3m at the end of the year. He's not as good as Speroni when you actually play with him.

Anyway, I just rage sold Ambrose and Scannell and bought Moses for £10m. Will see how this move plays out

After a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Cardiff on New Year's Eve I had a purge of the squad in January. Sold most of the players that I never intended on using even as cover and also sold Scannell for £4million to Watford. Signed a bunch of players including Ballesteros on a free from Levante, Magiera at left back, Rivera from some Spanish team, Lacour from somewhere, an absolute bullet of a winger called Mebrahtu from Gold Coast and Alberto Seidi from Southampton. This along with Powell, Makinwa and Richert who I signed in the initial window made my squad much better and way faster. Went unbeaten for ages with Makinwa scoring 25 goals and snuck into the playoffs with a game to spare.

Beat Forest 2-0 at home and then lost 1-0 away after playing very defensively and nervously! Dominated the final vs Leicester but couldn't score so went to penalties. I missed my first and then scored my next 4, I chipped the last one down the middle to show my bottle (and because I thought they'd score) and after going the right way but tipping it back into the crossbar and into the goal on 2 occassions I finally managed to save a penalty on their 5th to send it to sudden death. Moxey slammed one home and Richert made a great save and I won. Will be fun to play in the Premier League next season.

Halifaxman you were right, it became much easier as I got used to it. I played multiplayer before and was good at it but playing CPU is a different game. Seems easier the less you sprint I found. I started playing a 5212 formation but eventually went to a 424/4231 that suited me because my strikers were my best players. Signed Clyne on a 5 year deal and Joniesta on a 4 year deal. Both are class class acts!

Been playing two player with my son's career mode. He already got Palace promotion and now in the Prem. He's done pretty well, finished 11th in first season and currently 7th in the current season. Made some shrewd purchases too by bringing in Moses, Hudson, Routledge, Wilbraham, Fonte and Michael Johnson. After the latest signings changed formation to 442 after letting Ambrose go for 3.4 million. Was playing Zaha up front alongside Murray but switched Moses for Zaha and Murray for Wilbraham. Victor is a far better finisher than Zaha so its worked wonders.

Millwall bidded £9.5 million for Zaha the other day. I accepted but he rejected the offer. Even in Fifa, Wilf is a legend!

Could of done with the money though. Plus Sekajja is suprisingly good i've recently discovered!

Following my sons addiction to the career mode, I've started one. First week had offers left right and centre for Speroni and Clyne. Also suffered lengthy injuries to both Wright and Gardner. My transfer targets all seem to be ex-palace players for some reason!

Question; anyone know if it is of any benefit loaning young players out at all?

Really, not at all. A whole season loan will probably get them up by 1, at max. Growth in this game is really bad and was not what it was hyped up to be.
Manager mode was a real let down this season.

Is anyone playing H2H without using Ambrose, Scanz, Clyne and Gardner? I've done well against the easier players using the Joniesta and Sekajja in place of Ambrose and Scannell respectively, but against physically stronger teams, I'm getting done on the break. Anyone been trying to use the squad instead of now former players?

I was thinking of switching Parr into the midfield and have the Mox in his place at LB. I could do with playing Zaha off of Murray up front.... Play 4-2-2-2 usually.

Looks like mine is now completely fecked.

Tried starting a new career and after one game it started freezing again, tried and exhibition game and again freezing up... I mean properly freezing not just for the 10 seconds anymore

This close to Fifa13 coming out, 12 still not cheap with the price at £25, no way can I justify getting another copy... yet just enough away from 13 to be bloody annoying, especially during the school holidays (teacher)!!!

On head to head seasons, is there a way of saving a teams formation and selection without having to re-do it every time?
