Games under BFS without Sakho - 0.85pts per game, before and after his injury are almost identical.

Games under BFS with Sakho - 2 pts per game.

There is an argument to say that Sakho's presence showed the single most influence on results, and the evidence for it is strong.

Sam Allardyce has refuted claims that he has held talks with Everton about becoming their next manager and has said that he has made no contact with them.

I know you like to tout this stat about but this does not imply a causal link at all. You can't have such a strong causal link in what is a team game. Unless, perhaps, you are talking about a Messi or Ronaldo who often single handedly score the goals that WIN games for their teams.

Sam was a major factor in us staying up. Sakho was also a big factor. As was Luka. But the man who coordinated it all and turned the team into a hard to beat outfit was Sam. I'm not aware of Sakho taking coaching sessions, deciding tactics and picking the team...

Let's give credit where it is due. Sam is a very very good manager.

As I've said before when this Sakho point is raised - SA should hang his head in shame for deliberately signing players who, by helping the team get results, will enhance his managerial reputation.

Sam did a good job, mainly by improving fitness, discipline and organisation.
Based on his previous record and signs to date, I don't see any reason why RH can't do an equally good (or better) job. He came in to a demoralised team with a pile of injuries, no striker, and with a horrible series of fixtures. Let's see what he can do when we have a striker (and pray for no new injuries).

Maybe he’s going in the ‘Celebrity Jungle’ show!

Probably nonsense, but there’s a rumour.

Oh god, not this nonsense again.

If staying up was all Sakho rather than Allardyce, why has his presence this season not sent us immediately rocketing up the Premier League table?

F*ck me, why did we bother with fielding a side when BFS kept us up from the sidelines?

How the hell did he manage that then?

Mamadou Sakho kept us up and it's the reason why we paid a fortune to sign him on a permanent deal.

1. He's been injured if you hadn't noticed.

2. He stops us getting slaughtered. We need an attack, which will happen once we get back Benteke and Wickham.

3. We'd be in no better place with BFS in charge - it's injuries that have f*cked us up.

Explain how BFS kept us up all on his own then.

The bloke is a corrupt chancer who has saddled us with two players that cost us a fortune and we really need to off-load. Probably at a massive loss too.

Why the f*ck did we let him buy PvA and Schlupp?

FFS and some of you want to have his babies.

Pardew would have sapped all the quality from Sakho.

No, your comment is complete nonsense. For one, it was BFS who signed Sakho. He also signed Schlupp, PvA and Milivojevic, who all played pivotal roles in keeping us up. He got the best out of Benteke, he got the best out of Cabaye, Tomkins was superb under Allardyce.
