Would love Ryan Sessegnon. Very much doubt we will or could get him though

I think he’s been linked with Spurs.

Not a particular player, but it makes me feel sick to see Bristol City doing so well, especially with one of the Johnsons in charge. They’re both total pricks.

Know he’s league one but what happened to Bradley Dack? Still any good and worth a cheap gamble?

Went to Blackburn for 750,000. He's playing very well there, scoring plenty from midfield. The Rovers fans love him.

I think Lee Johnson seems like a decent guy.

Definitely Watkins, need to sign him this January imo. Failing that, Jamie Paterson at Bristol City has been excellent on the left wing and drifting inside.

Others that should be on our radar (in January or the summer) should be Bryan (Bristol City) or Henry (Brentford) at left back (replace PVA), Flint (Bristol City) at centre back, Brownhill (Bristol City) or Johansen (Fulham) or Hourihane (Villa) at centre midfield (replace Puncheon) and Jamie Paterson (Bristol City) or possibly Mo Barrow (Reading) on the wing (replace Sako/Lee). Think we'll struggle to sign any Wolves players. Assombalonga will be too expensive, better off looking abroad or signing C.Wilson or Ings imo.

We really ought to be finding the next Stones, Maguire, Mawson, Cresswell, Redmond, Alli, Gray etc, there are some hidden gems in the lower leagues.

How much would Watkins cost us? The problem is players doing really well in the Championship can attract huge fees and then they cannot convert that to PL form. They are not cheap gambles.

It's a mad suggestion but Oztumer at Walsall has some outrageous skills and scores plenty of amazing goals and really should be playing at a higher level.

I think there may be a few enquiries going in for Joe Bryan given his performance tonight.

Brownhill from Bristol City is also a tidy midfielder, in the Jimmy Mac mould.
Said this a few months back. Brownhill was quality against last night.

Joe Bryan as mentioned also seems to know where the goal is and is a tidy prospect. Bristol City will get promoted in my eyes if they keep there team fit and dont sell in Jan.

In a similar position to where we were when we made the League Cup semi final. Our season started to fall apart second half of the season with a small squad and all the games.

In 2 months (dec and jan) City have to play 14 games! Assuming Man City beat them and if the lose their 3rd round match to Watford. They would only play 17 games in the rest of the season Feb-May.

If they are still in the hunt mid Feb then fair play to them.

Never been a lover of Johnson (jnr or senior)

But the transition from last season to this has been amazing..

Landsdown has done a quietly impressive job of building a decent stadium and side, they could go close, like they did in 2008

My son was at Yeovil for a short spell when GJ was manager. He always seemed polite and helpful to me.

A lot of hype surrounding Ethan Pinnock on the Barnsley boards. He's only started twice (and scored 2 goals) but their fans are already suggesting that it wont be long before bigger clubs are chasing him. The reality is, of course, that we will take a more unimaginative view and sign Matthew Kilgallon or someone of that ilk.
