Venables !! As that article went on to say, he brought more Australian planks to the club than you get in an episode of Home and Away.

One tomoto each eh,
I'm sure 30000 Palace fans would be able to compromise and coat all three,
failing that Smith

Definitely Venables, the other two were just Idiots who couldn't organise the proverbial in a brewery. Venables was looking after only himself and did more than the others to try and ruin this club

Goldberg. He was responsible for Vegetables. He was a moron, admitted, but he was a dangerous moron who almost destroyed our club.

Goldberg: He started our decline with his financial wizardry, and he was the one who employed Very Terribals.

Smith did help us win the league a while back so I couldn't throw a tomato at him. Goldberg was/is a fellow Palace fan so I wouldnt throw one at him. Now T*rry V*n*bl*s I could throw one at.

It has to be Smith without a doubt. Goldbergs heart was in the right place, it was just unfortunate his brain was somewhere different. Although it is assumed that Venables bled the club dry he only took what was offered, who wouldn't. Admittedly he could have worked harder and been around more but do not lose sight that the demise was off the pitch not on it. He had to part with the likes of Moore and Jansen which did not exactly do us any favours. Smith however got it wrong almost from the start. He always thought he knew best and would not listen to other views, treated players with disrespect, and generally fell well short on both the managerial/coaching front. He was out of his depth (for the second time) and thank god it was dealt with when it was or the long awaited Palace v Brighton would have been this season, in Div 2.

Venables (I hate the myth that surrounds him) supported by the global media football comunity who suddenly thought football was cool and interesting after Euro '96.

I would also save a bit of the Tomato for that big fat head steward at Palace

I notice they decided to keep it competitive by excluding Noades!

But of course Tezzer gets it every time.

Has to be Venables.

While Goldberg was just incompetent, Smith lost the plot.

However, Venables knew exactly what he was doing. Pure evil.

Goldberg lost his pot of gold so he's not likely to get it as I couldn't kick a man when he was down on the dole queue.
Reckon I'd cut my tomato in half and split it between the last two.

Last thing I heard Mr Goldberg was looking into the possibility of buying another football club - perhaps the message hasn't got through to him yet!

Vegetables gets the fruit.

He is the odd one out. Both Smith and Goldberg felt the pain too when Palace suffered during their respective periods at the club. Venables just smelt the money.

Goldielocks has my vote. His ego trip nearly destroyed our club whereas the others whilst doing damage didn't even come close.

Agree completely. Smith was also quite happy to let Cockerill and Houghton take the blame not long before his own demise, so lost any claim to the 'decent bloke' status he so obviously craved.
