really? he's very entertaining but most definitely not the most exciting. Sanchez, Hazard, Salah, De Bruyne, Coutinho and a few others are above Wilf.

Iíve said it before and Iíll say it again, he will never be sold while we are in the Prem & he is still in contract.
Heís worth more to us than any club can afford.
With him we stay up, without him we probably donít.
The Prem is worth £100m a season (roughly). Getting back may take several seasons. Whoís going to offer 2 or 300 million? Itís not going to happen & the club are not going to entertain silly bids. Letís face it, heís priceless to us & SP knows it.

If he wants to leave then it will most likely happen, regardless of the finances.

How good would they be in this Palace side with three men on them?
They are the cream of the premier league but i wouldn't swap any of them for Wilf personally.

De Bruyne has obviously been great for City but his most impressive achievement was carrying a fairly average Wolfsburg side to second in the Bundesliga, subsequently winning player of the season.

I think whatever sale happens we should take advantage of a player swap deal due to Man United's sell on clause.

Players like Salah, De Bruyne, Hazard, Sane are ahead of Wilf. I think he’d get into any of the teams in the top 6 though...I think he’s better than Sterling for example (who has improved, but still misses 3 great chances a game and mainly scores tap ins laid onto him by people like David Silva).

Wilf is not for sale for any money.
If there comes a time when he really wants to go which i sincerely hope never happens, we might as well sell everyone at the same time because we all know whats going to happen as soon as he does leave.
Wilf is a seriously good player, we may never ever see another player worth that kind of money in a Palace shirt ever again, we certainly won't be buying one. We've managed to produce a world class player, we really have to enjoy this unique bit of good fortune and milk it for all its worth. It really is a one off chance to have a few years dining at the top table.

Agree mostly mate, we may never see another Wilf here particularly one who grew up a stones throw away from the club. Not only his ability but his story in his time throughout has been phenomenal and emotional. To single handedly dump Brighton on their arse on their own patch was a night I'll never forget. He's gone from strength to strength and developed into the perfect player with a sheer love for the club. I'd love it if he stayed here, it's all down to him.

However, if he does want to leave we can't be defeatist and think it will all come crashing down on us. The likes of Benfica continuously lose their top talents because financially they can't compete but they always manage to maintain their solid competitive level. It's about the recruitment at the end of the day, we might not have that elusive spark without Wilf but under Roy we can most certainly build a very competitive Premier League squad who can truly establish themselves long term.

agreed, Wilf epitomises what is good about this club and he gets "us" the fans, but people need to be realistic. If you asked majority of fans "for the 5 most exciting players in the prem" I doubt he'd barely get a mention.

For now, maybe. But times are changing. In his new role up top he is getting more opportunities to shine and make headlines. For me, he is improving week on week. He is learning the role. He is going to form a devastating partnership with Benteke. He links very well with RLC. Mark my words, he will be right up there with the Prem's finest in 1 to 2 years time. I back him to improve on his left peg and score the goals to make people sit up and take note.

His story is a ridiculous one. The academy kid who improves week after week, getting closer and closer to the world class talent that some of us (I won't mention names) knew he would be all those years ago. We have had him for longer than I imagined. We have seriously lucked out, and ironically have Man Utd to thank.

But there is more to come if we want to milk it for all it is worth. And we do. At the moment we are not dining at the top table. So far we have discovered a top chef, and he has just been awarded his first michelin star. But he will go on to win three. There is no doubt about it.

He has pulled us from mid table Championship mediocrity and made us an established Premier League club. Yes, we are not a one man team, but no-one has done more for this club in the last 25 years. He turned up in the big play-off games to give us the chance we needed, Puncheon scored the goals in that first season to keep us up, and now Zaha has taken over again. He is the talisman. Our academy kid is the ******* talisman. It just feels so good to say that!

So how do we milk it? We name the new stand after him. And before that, we name him club captain. He should be the captain, because he is the guy who can inspire people to join our academy over Ar*enal, Che*sea, Tott*nham etc. He is South London. He is a role model. He leads by example. He doesn't have to be the skipper on the field, but he should be the club captain 100%. I am absolutely certain. And soon we really will be dining at the top table. Dust down your passports, we will be in Europe before you know it if we play this correctly.
