It would be nice if things were in place for him to join should a move to the Premiership not come about. We should agree a fee/terms, and be ready to send the FA a fax.

What chance do we have of signing him?

Brum could be after Nugent too. Despite signing Jerome, Bruce still wants more strkiers. David Gold has pledged to reinvest the GBP7m received for Pennant into the team.
Their strikers at the moment: Forssell, Jerome, DJ Campbell, Sone Aluko (17 years old, although he sounds a bit like AJ). There is quality in the squad, but it looks pretty threadbare and not ideal for an assault on the CCC.

Anyone else just want a straight 'YES' or 'NO' from Preston / Nugent to end all this speculation?

I do!
I'm so fed up with all his. If he wants to come play for Palace then fine, If hes not sure then leave it. He's good, I accept that, but the speculation is just getting ridiculous!!!!

Agreed Andrew but without this it would mean having to do actual work at work. Where's the fun in that?

Can someone just fill me in?
So many rumours here there and everywhere, it's slightly confusing..... At this moment what are the chances of 'The Nuge ' coming to Selhurst? |

The far more realistic threat for us is Brum. |
