Nice bloke but definitely not the main man / leader we require

This is why I don't want him to get it. Tactically set us up poorly but couldn't bare to see him getting slated by his own.

Agreed. I think all of us would like to see him stick around, he's just not the man for the job.

Sad but obviously not going to make it as a manager.

Sadly, I feel KM is too close to the players emotionally to stamp his authority on them, which is where I think we saw them losing shape yesterday.
Walsall maybe Keith's last game in charge (although if we go by form, it took over a month to appoint Pulis last season!) so I would just like him to get the team to show some attacking intent and come out of the defensive mentality that has seen us just playing defensive/counter-attacking football, withouth the counter attack! I think the landscape has change with regards to a Cup Run, so if we get our usual early round defeat, as at Bristol City and Preston in recent years, let's at least go out and test the opposition's goalkeeper!

How many for example might have thought that Marriappa playing and moving Ward into the middle might have been a better option than playing SOK ? That's just how I saw it, I can see players accepting decisions from someone like TP, but KM no. |

Keith Curle was offered the number 2 job by Warnock last night. He rejected it.

So what was all this bullshit about us being excited about the backroom staff we were planning on bringing in?! Does it amount to AJ doing a bit of striker coaching 2 hours a week?! Yippee!

Is it possible that Curle was offered the vacant first team coach role?
If he was offered Millen's role, I think that's a bit disloyal, which I know is of paramount importance. |

The "exciting" one would have been Derry, I imagine

Why is it a shambles just because someone turned down a job?

We can't even get an out of work coach with an average reputation to join our Premier league club, despite being told of an 'exciting' approach to the back room staff.
never mind the fact that, if he was indeed offered the number two position, we already have a Palace fan in that post who has carried the club through turbulant times twice. |

Agreed. It's hardly Decca turning down the Beatles...

I've heard he's leaving.
If so, thanks for all the effort Keith. If not, I apologise in advance for the incorrect information. |
