He did say that it had ceased to exist now and in its final days it was purely a results and match reporting service, is that right? I'm only 23 so missed the boat on it when it was in full swing. |

In today’s round-up there is news of Ian Holloway’s excitement at the job awaiting him in south London, where he believes the squad is more than strong enough to eclipse what he achieved at Blackpool. Ollie feels that the move to Palace has reinvigorated his love of the game and according to Kevin Day, bringing in local lad Keith Millen as his assistant is an inspired choice. It seems that the odds on us gaining promotion are being slashed week on week, with bwin offering an industry best price of 5/1, an utterly unrecognisable standpoint compared to the beginning of the season. Mick McCarthy is demanding that his Ipswich side perform with “effort and commitment” tonight, in a game the Tractor Boys will obviously be approaching with care. It’s a game we must be careful of, with Mick’s teams always up for the fight, and there are previews of the fixture from both the official site and Just The One Lombardo. There’s also a full match report from the development squad’s game against Middlesbrough last night, which was a lively encounter to say the least. Whilst at The Waterfront, the Five Year Plan team were recording their latest podcast with Palace co-chairman, Steve Browett. Any feedback is more than welcome. To view the link you have to Register or Login In today’s round-up we have a match report from last night’s 5 – 0 hammering of Ipswich Town with extensive quotes from Ian Holloway’s post-match press conference. There’s also reaction to the game from Mick McCarthy and Nigel Reo-Coker, who took the defeat in completely different ways, it’s fair to say Mr Reo-Coker wasn’t a happy bunny by the time the final whistle sounded. Highlights of the game have been uploaded, meaning you can re-live every one of our five goals on the night; it certainly makes for pleasant viewing. It was a result that will have made the division sit up and take notice, something Kenny Jackett needs no encouragement with, as he has spoken of his respect for our new boss, putting club rivalries to one side for the time being. Curtis Fleming is sadly no longer a part of the club, with the board releasing a statement regarding his departure this morning. Whilst Ibra Sekejja may also be on the move, although not permanently, as news of a possible loan deal involving a League One club was discussed by Ollie last night. Finally, there is a piece on Five Year Plan about why Mile Jedinak is proving to be such an important player for us. Hopefully you enjoy reading all the pieces and have a good day. Any feedback is more than welcome. Thanks. Last edited by cpfcdan; 07-11-2012 at 05:05 PM. |

Very good. Don't want to take it off tangent but my thoughts on the goals/pens:
1) Garvan flick on, very good. Yannick's run, very good. Murray's hands up, very clever. 2) Zaha was tripped, but exaggerated his fall a bit. Still a pen. 3) Soft pen on Garvan. Silly defending 4) Good pass Garvan to Zaha, brilliant pass from Zaha to Murray. Definite pen for trip on Garvan 5) Great run from Ward, good poacher's finish from Murray 6) Well worked between Parr and Moritz. Garvan involved in 3 of the 6 major incidents, and two contributions in one of them.

Today there’s news on Ibra Sekejja’s loan move to MK Dons. An opportunity to watch the entire 90 minutes of our 5 – 0 win against Ipswich as long as you sign up to Palace Player’s free trial. There’s news on Ian Holloway’s replacement at Bloomfield Road, who has curiously been given the same form of rolling contract which seemed to cause Ollie so much angst. Curtis Fleming has thanked Palace fans for the way in which they made him feel at home whilst he was with us. Ian Holloway is certain that opposition defences will be quaking in their boots before they play us, which bodes well as we prepare to face Peterborough. Finally, there’s a chance to bask in a certain youth products success, as Victor Moses takes all manner of praise for his last gasp winner for Chelsea last night. Any feedback is more than welcome, hopefully you enjoy reading. Thanks. |
