I know we shouldn't judge Wilbraham on goals alone - I definitely agree with that. But surely he has to even remotely look like scoring, or setting up others?

I sincerely hope he takes this opportunity and does the business. Good luck to him.

AW may not score as many goals, but his touch is good, and he is more mobile and better in the air. He could help the team play better. If we can keep it right at the back we only need to score one goal. And there's always KP to come on. Losing GM is a blow, but it's not the end of the world, especially for 2 games.

All of course wasted with such poor quality/ lack of balls into the box. So often Wilf and Bolasie fail to get the ball in after beating a defender, seem to want to do one more step over than is necessary.

He's a different option, but I think you have to play 2 up front for this to work.
And 2 wingers which we can't do because neither Phillips nor Bolasie put any effort into closing Dow/tracking back.

Thought he was decent last night. Bit stronger and more physical than Glenn, which meant Upson and Greer's tactics of pulling our CF all over the shop weren't so effective.

Doesn't carry the same goal threat as Murray, but does bring our wide players into the game more with his hold-up play. Can work in our favour at the Amex if we start him, Zaha and Bolasie.

I thought he was more effective than Murray last night.

Deserves a start on Monday, let's hope we get some service to him.

Unwarranted stick.

His recent appearances have been very decent, and his hold up play is excellent - better than Murray's of late, certainly.

He is our Heskey; he may not be prolific but he makes others play.

He has to play on Monday. We can't start Phillips: he can't last 90, can't play as a lone forward, and we can't afford to play 4-4-2.

The key will be to get attacking players in an around Wilbraham, and also hope he gets more protection than Murray does in terms of getting free-kicks for blatant shirts pulls etc.

Including last night. Started 4, 18 from the bench, 1 shot on target and 8 off target, assists 2, goals 0. Hardly inspiring. Now lets try Phillips
Started 2, 13 from the bench, 9 shots on target, 6 off target, assists 0, goals 6. Don't know about you lot but to me it`s a no brainer.

He was very clever at getting freekicks against Leicester. Won a lot more in that game for us than Murray.

As he proved again last night, he has an excellent first touch. We always have unlikely heroes in big matches anyway, so here's hoping...

Well he'll be playing Monday night. Looks like the ball sticks to him well enough.

We need Garvan for the set pieces, this IMO is our only chance of goals

We all thought that Palace without Ian Wright wouldn't beat Liverpool in the Cup Semi-Final.

Thought he did well when he came on.
I'm one of the few who've seen him score for Palace, up at Preston

Won't get you 30 goals a season, but he's 10x better than Easter and better than Appiah.

Could be very important for us on Monday.

I hope if he does start monday he has someone up with him, having a lone striker system work is very rare and it's just testament to how good Glenn's been this year that it has. If he has Phillips with him it may carry quite a threat.

I think he'll do well on Monday night, especially if Bolasie and Zaha support him/give him good service.

I think we need to play with pace and get wide as much as possible to stretch the game on the break.

Put balls into the box for Wilbrahamovic and I think he could have the beating of Greer and Upson.
