Ward
Will never forgive Clyne for his effortless performance against Derby before he ****ed off down south. |

Ward for me too.

Probably just about Ward for me at the moment. I think this time next year he will be comfortably the better player though.

Ward has done it in the prem for us, Clyne didn't.

Ward is a very classy player, undoubtedly. Probably the best we have in the squad bar Mile. but, Clyne had more of an all round game. NC would be devastatingly good bombing forward as an IH full back.
NC for me. |

Clyne is good at attacking. Ward is exceptinally good at both

Clyne i'd say

Defensively Ward is better but think Clyne was a better crosser of the ball.
Ward reminds me of a young John Humphrey so calm under pressure! How long before the England call up?! |

Ward.

Ward will be wanted by top 6 clubs come the end of the season.
This is why you scout the lower leagues for players like this. |

Bit early to say as Ward's only played 3 games at this level so far but has been fantastic, if he can keep up the top performances all season then Ward all day long. NC aint no mug tho.

How anyone can say Clyne doesn't make an impact at this level is beyond me. He had been brilliant for Southampton last year, get the feeling their new manager is not as much of a fan as Adkins was.

Not sure who's better but for where we are now, I'd rather have Ward. His ability in our own penalty area makes us way more solid than we would be with Clyne.

Maybe. Not many of them have an outstanding right back

Ward. When he got injured last year we fell apart. He came back and we became solid again

Clyne looks slightly better going forward (though rarely with any end product) but Ward is a far, far better defender. He'll streak past Nat before long - straight into the England squad.
