All about staying up again this season for me. Got to get at least 10 wins, throw in several draws and we'll be there or there abouts.
1 win down 9 to go.

Well I have to say that was a pleasant surprise. We are definitely their bogey team!

Leicester replace Norwich from last season for the game played on New Year's Day.
A disappointing 1-1 draw with Punch equalising with a penalty just before half-time. The result also saw us drop back into bottom 3. Given we both had good results last weekend it could be another draw.

Great result today and we are now a point up compared with last season.
Early days, but important when last season we took 6 points from the next two games (including a certain team from West London).

What do you mean by a point up? Is this a calculator term or actual league points?

Last season we had 3 points after 6 games, 7 games, 8 games, 9 games and 10 games, so whatever way you look at it we are up.

Plus one now, but we'll need to win the next game away at Hull to keep that.
Even with a draw I think we'll finish on 47 points (but I really need to lay off the cold medication). |

I prefer to look at the points from games stats.
Last season 3 from 10. This season 8 from 6. |

32 games left - if we average a point a game= 40pts.
Or one win every three matches. 36 was enough last season |

Well, despite our resurgence, I can guarantee that that will not happen!
Great idea for a thread, by the way, gives a good idea of what results are required against which types of team, as well as reminding of some great games last year! |

Last season saw us record our first away win (0-1) of the season on 23 November thanks to a late Barry Bannan goal which lifted us off the bottom on goal difference. Although Tony Pulis had just been appointed manager Keith Millen took charge of the team.
Just prior to the goal Bolasie had been sent off for a clumsy lunge on Jake Livermore. More of the same today will do (except the red card).
