Keith Millen appreciate thread
This bloke is Palace through and through, and has twice now been thrown into a difficult situation.
While other people lose their heads and lose their way, Millen has stood up to face the cameras on a number of occassions and has never let us down. During todays press confernece, the reporter asked: 'Does it make preperations for tomorrow tougher?' Millen: 'Well it isn't ideal... hahahahaha' Legend... I wish him luck, and hope that, whatever comes of this, Keith is happy and is treated as he is deserved by the club. Last edited by CPFC_DAVE77; 15-08-2014 at 04:57 PM. |

I agree - top bloke and that applies whether we win draw or get beaten 10-0.

I think this Millen match against Arsenal will be easier to prepare for than the last Millen match.
At least we've got a definite formation that works , so hopefully he won't need to tinker much

Yep - Great guy.
Showed integrity towards the players, the board, the fans and the ex manager all in one swoop. The new guy would be mad not to keep him on. |

This for 90 minutes, even when we're 4-0 down.
Or get louder when 4-0 down. Or 4-0 up. Either works. |

EDIT: Not my work, posted by Five Year Plan on Twitter. But I still agree with it. Last edited by cpfcfly; 15-08-2014 at 06:31 PM. |

Comes across as a decent, loyal fella. These are good qualities, especially in the light of what has just happened. I'm just not sure they're enough. Has he got that ruthlessness and tactical nous you need? But good luck him, either way.

Knows the players, knows the club, knows the community, knows the owners.
Give him the job. |

"I got a phone call from the chairman at 21:00 BST on Thursday and I was asked to take training today and take the team tomorrow," says Millen.
Knows the time too.

Such a good man to have in a crisis. I'm not worried about tomorrow, we thrive under a 'siege mentality' so I wouldn't be surprised to see us win 2-0

He needs to be kept at the club regardless of who comes in.
Top bloke and clearly respected by fans and the players. |
