He deserves dropping for that awful pass under no pressure which gave Jutkiewicz or whatever his name a clear chance on goal

Jedi needs a rest. His tackling is amazing but the rest of his game is such a liability maybe we should try Ledley and McArthur

At his best (and he's had long spells of consistency in the past), he's an absolutely crucial player for us defensively, especially when you think of the kind of quality we're up against most weeks. So I think he still has to play every game.
As I said in the thread about him moving to centre-back, though, the idea of a Ledley-McCarthur midfield is interesting. Probably missing Jedi's breaking-up of play, but having Jimmy Mac now does open up those possibilities. Would like to see it in the Newcastle cup game.

Made two huge mistakes today, could have single handedly lost us the game but I still can't see us dropping him as his break up play is just that good.

Has been coming for a while now. No player should be undroppable. I can forgive poor passing if he defends well but his performance and loss of composure today were disappointing.

1st player on the team sheet and most important player. Had a stinker today but he will come back stronger. Great mentality!

If anything he needs a rest after a demanding season and summer.

Can't agree about his mentality today. He lost it and almost cost us the game! |

I'd drop him for the next game, would rather see Bannan give a chance.

Calm Down. He's Captain and is harder to drop than other players. If Ledley was 100% fit, Jedinak could have been rested today.

At home in a game we need to win then I think Ledley should have replaced him soon after half time.
There will still be lots of games this season where he will be vital though. |

Bolasie was pooier. Campbell and Doyle awful. Squad is weaker

Garbage performance from Jedi, lucky to get a point with him in the team, Burnley's 12th man.

Getting his mentality right will be a big test of Warnock's management IMO.
