On the basis that a poor game gets you dropped, how many are we going to drop after today's performance?
Of course he should not be dropped, but there needs to be a big improvement throughout the team. It was poor today, especially in the second half. They will be only too well aware that it wasn't good enough this afternoon. We will play much better teams than Burnley with a lot more quality. Work to do!!

Everyone always says this. He cost us the game today IMO. Slowed it down, lost the ball countless times. Ledley and McArthur in the middle would have been much better. Can't remember a worse performance in a palace shirt in my lifetime! |

The fact is that we have now bought alternatives. I thought Jedi was disastrous today.
I would have thought that Ledley and McArthur could do better than that. This was against a side who pissed the championship last season so they obviously play well together but we lacked any cohesion through the middle. We are going to struggle if we give the ball away continuously. |

There is no question Jedi does look weary and off the pace and a rest would not go amiss, but I am sure is only a temporary blip as he is an outstanding player who is not functioning at his high standards. But that is simply screening the fact we were awful as a team, and this hoof football we played was very disappointing after having the break to work on a pattern of play, sadly if it continues will only mean one thing come the end of the season.
It was hard to take any positives from this game bearing in mind this was a home game against Burnley, and the performances of Bolasie and Doyle when they came on left a lot to be desired. Our attack looked all at sea and totally unbalanced, and if you fail to break down a team like Burnley, then we have problems ahead. |

I love Jedi. But he was poor today. I would stick with him as I don't think anyone else would do that type ( break up play) of job. What we did however need today was a Murray up front!!!

As above, love him but he had a poor game today. Wouldn't drop him yet though.

I am a fan of Jedinak and think he should be a starter - but I'm not sure it is accurate to say today was his only poor game. He has been a liability this season. Maybe he needs a rest...

Jedi has been quite poor for a while and should be dropped. A central midfield of McArthur and Ledley is quite capable.

worst performance he's ever put in for us today. foul after foul after foul. dropping him isn't really an option though. we clearly can't get away with a 4 man midfield, what was colin thinking?

I think this is key. Maybe he shouldn't play first game back after the international break. Or he should jack in playing internationally

I said in the week that I wouldn't play Jedinak today as his performances so far this season have been very poor and on par with his early season displays of last season under Holloway.
Today just further confirmed my view that Jedinak needs to be rested. He's the captain but it's plain to see that a the moment he just doesn't look up to this level. People will say that's a silly statement, but I'm basing it on his current form not how he played under Pulis, who got the very best out of him. |

DONT PANIC
DONT PANIC maybe just give him the benefit of the doubt for a few games, let alone one. He is our leader. Without him that team wouldn't be the same. Our rise coincides with him

He's not flawless but he's irreplaceable as he's vital am to us and a beast with many great qualities and we don't have a good enough alternative too

But this is now. We are a much weaker team this year (mainly because we have lost a great manager) and we cannot afford to have a player like Jedinak perform like he has done this season so far.

Poor today... Didn't help that we took off players that could score or create opportunities in Zaha, Campbell and Gayle

before he game I was thinking that McArthur and Ledley are probably both better players than Jedinek, though I'm not sure if they give the same defensive cover.
Jedinek was appalling today, very lucky not to get a red card, gave away needless fouls, was the wrong side of his man for the pen and made some shocking passes. I think he needs to have a few good games or he will be dropped. |
