What is it with Parish selling players more popular than him?
Alan Lee, Wilf Zaha, Glenn Murray etc |

I felt we needed 2 targets at the beginning of the season to settle the nerves, and then drop back to 1 when we got back into the groove of the Premiership after 5 to 10 games. When Chamakh got injured he was needed even more so, because there was no other option. You won't find a single Palace fan who thinks Campbell or Doyle should start ahead of Murray. Glenn built up a good understanding with Gayle, and deserved 5 games (or at least 4 until Chamakh returned to fitness) to make a claim for the spot. If it didn't work out for him after that THEN loan him out. We were way too hasty. If Glenn was here he'd be starting the next game, either up front or in the hole. And that's without us sustaining any further injuries and ignoring the 2 goals he got today. The goals are just reinforcement of what a shocking decision it was. It's biting us already. My only hope is Chamakh comes back to fitness next week because we ******* need him now.

McCarthy last started a league game in 2012! He's played 26 minutes of league football in the last two seasons. Even if Murray only played half an hour today he would have contributed more. You don't even really need 25, I think Chelsea only named 20. |

I dont think Murray is the answer, he hasnt got the pace, we needed to sign a pacey target man all summer all didnt, in fact we let all our big men from last season go!
Doyle looks the best of a mediocre bunch to me. |

This is up there as another parish cock up!
Doyle is not an improvement on Murray. Also heard CamJam changed the game for Norwich against Cardiff We will not compete in this league with Gayle/Campbell/Doyle/AJ. Fear by the time parish realises what a **** up he has made it will be too late. Still........at least we have a club to worry ourselves about!

Where did we get all these whingey, negative, moaning fans from???
The one strength we've had in recent years is us all pulling together from boardroom to players to fans, all cheering the team on through thick and thin. We used to cheer whether we are winning or losing and have got quite a reputation for it. The team need our support, this season is going to be double hard with a triple hard run in so we need moany, whingey, negative fans like a hole in the head. They stink out the place so kindly do us all a favour and get the f**k out of the place, many thanks. |

Surely Glenn Murray is contracted to Crystal Palace and as such the ball is in our court as to when and if he is released from his obligations under the terms of the contract which has two years left on it.
No player can be allowed to dictate to the club whilst he is under contract. Palace said that he has been loaned to Reading to get game-time and that the situation would be reviewed when the loan period has expired. This is a direct contradiction to what Glenn and Reading are saying which is that Reading have an arrangement in place to buy him from Palace if they so wish at the end of his loan period. Us fans deserve to know who is telling the truth regarding the future of Glenn Murray as someone clearly is not. |

Why would anyone think Glenn should play "in the hole" he's a striker.
