Murray's two goals were against 39 year old Gabor Kiraly. Fulham must be in state having to play him !

Yeo, Jerome and Murray playing well......in the CHAMPIONSHIP, when neither scored much in the PL, great comparison. And I know Murray was injured. As for forcing hime to stay......I despair of some, I really do

No, but he only played 1 league game last season.

Doesn't determine his ability just like his age doesn't. |

Both in 4 years (so a total of 8 seasons!) between them scored the same as Murray in one season. This bullshit about people playing in the Championship is bollocks and makes our fans sound like Arsenal fans. Was McArthur sub standard then? Despite us paying 8m - afterall he played in the championship. |

Billy, his point was not to denigrate the Championship but to point out that our saviour is supposedly doing the business at a level below where we are at now. He hasn't done it at this level to warrant a starting berth (the only thing that would have likely kept him here having read both his and NWs comments after the move). And again, comparing to AJ or Doyle is spurious although if getting into a hypothetical nonsense argument - both are vastly more experienced at this level. Funny how nobody was calling for him to start games before he went. Funny now how he is the missing ingredient (despite never having shown that to be the case at this level). It is the usual rationale in fairness, when things don't go 100% to plan on the pitch it is the player that didn't get picked that would gave made the difference. I'm in no doubt that had Williams not played today, or Bolasie, that we would have many posts dedicated to them not being played as a reason we couldn't win the game. Simply put, Murray is better than Doyle or AJ. The squad is weaker without him. |

I absolutely understand the decision to loan Glenn out. He needed to get fully fit, play games and score goals.
If it's correct that the deal is likely to become permanent, I'm not sure I understand it at all. He will be invaluable to us in the Championship next season. |

Let me put it another way, if that was the choice facing the club it surely wouldn't have been the one that was taken. Doyle and AJ were sought as replacements after Murray was seeking a move. I hold no ill-will to Muzza as he needs games but he wasn't going to be getting starts (bar maybe one or two whilst Chamakh is out - but even then he is not a 'number 10') and so it becomes academic. If Murray was happy to be a bench warmer he would still be here. |

Alan Lee? **** off, the guy is a lazy 2 faced, donkey ****. Yes he played his part at Hillsborough and when we were in admin, but he also spent a season taking the piss out of us for his wages, slagged off our fans and assaulted one of our players when playing against us. Certainly wasnt got rid of for being more popular than SP.

Dumb because he is clearly not coming back.
Perfectly reasonable to question the decision to loan him out. |
