Hopefully Everton used up all their luck with a travesty of a 4-1 scoreline against Wolfsburg aided by a penalty outside the box and a blatant offside 4th goal.
They were very poor in defence, to the extent that Tim Howard had to make 11 saves to keep Wolfsburg at bay. Palace have to play to our strengths and attack them at every opportunity like we did at Newcastle where we scored 3 goals. |

Everton 3 - 0 Palace im affraid.
Not wishing to be negative but i think they'll be a lot stronger than when we went up there last season. The on night nerves and long season got the better of them back then whilst we were on the ascendancy and up for having a pop at anyone. Most of the game against Burnley we looked unsure of oursleves and uninspired and i dont expect that change over night, hopefully im prooved wrong however. Sadly wouldve looked at this as a draw, maybe a sneaky three points under Pulis. As it is can't see us getting anything.

Quite surprised at the extent of negativity on this thread. Victory is unlikely but not impossible and we should be aiming for 3 points. Everton are very good but we have the players to match them if we play to the top of our game. I fancy us snatching a point although we may well lose. Talk of spankings seems a bit OTT for me.
