The person who cleared the ball off the line late in the game ( think it was Dann) deserves an extra mark

I think he'll move him up top in place of Campbell.

Bolasie was on fire today. It might have been related to the fact that Everton didn't follow through with their reported interest in him over the summer, so he was looking to prove a point? Good lad

Yep, I think Chamakh will do very well in that role with real options on the bench for the 2nd half.

Just when you start to lose a little belief in this team after the first 15 mins they deliver a performance like that

Well he played the lone striker role and scored the winner through gambling on a deep cross. That will do for starters and keeps his place IMO. Joint top scorer in the league!

Random thoughts:

Great team effort so I'm marking all right up there with Bolasie standing out.
Tony who?
Monkey off the back
Well done Campbell I loved your goal. Proper centre forward goal, nout odd.
Showed people doubting NW what he can do. Only been here five minutes. Hardly time to breath, injury to possibly best player and Zaha not fit too. Also the International break with players away. Still 5 points from 3 though . Picks Bolasie to start when he has been totally abject all season and gets this performance (with Zaha breathing down his neck). Great management. Ship steadied.
We still don't look as solid as we did last term, hope Ward can get back to right back and I am still in anguish over the target man situation but you 've got to hand it to SP for getting us to this point even, given what has gone on.

We looked a different team with Ledley back on the pitch. Really chuffed that Bolasie got his first PL goal, hopefully a few more of them to come!

No doubt Bolasie was MOTM today, but thought Puncheon was superb as well. Did a lot of defending and made our 3rd goal out of nothing

Uncertain whether this is true especially since he scored in one of the only ways a lone striker can but it is not his fault if he's bring required to play in a system that isn't a perfect fit for him.

Yannick is a joy to watch when he is running up the flanks at defenders.

I agree, hopefully he'll grow in confidence. However I can see him being replaced with cham when he is fit.

Any one else think that early goal from everton actually did us a favour?

We simply had to come out from playing so deep and we have the players to be a threat to anyone. You saw the belief grow and it's a belief we should be starting games with.

He's actually quite an oldskool attacking winger and the fact stones was subbed speaks volumes.Glad he got a goal as well.

This but I think the plan was going well. But they scored earlyish which put a spoke in our wheels but perhaps no bad thing.

and to think we didn't even need Zaha to come on, that shows how good Bolasie and Puncheon were.

Other than the first 10 minutes we were excellent. Defended well and counted quickly. Ledley really is the missing piece of the jigsaw. The way he linked with Bolasie to get forward, and the way he linked up with Jedi defensively, was superb.

Campbell worked hard but I dont think he suits our system. Chamakh in there will be excellent.

Jedi much better, as was Kelly. Doyle did very well to be fair. Bolasie easy MOTM.

In the first 15 minutes nobody would have got above a 5.

Just over 96 minutes later, they're all heroes. Delaney I though did particularly well after a shaky start. Bolaise + final product = Unplayable nightmare for every RB in the league. Kelly I though looked very solid and Jedi's bounce back from last weeks appalling performance to midfield enforcer once again also deserves a mention.

I could go on to mention couple of spectacular saves from Speroni, a last minute line clearance and plenty of excellent link up play but all that truly matters is that we won, and we deserved the win.
