Away Coaches - ongoing problems
Great win today but one of our drivers decided to watch DVDs and recharge her phone off the coach battery.
Consequently we have been stuck outside the ground at Everton since 6pm and don't look like moving in the next hour either. Still nice view of the Cemetry - although it's getting a bit dark.

I think Rosberg was doing the same thing prior to the F1 wasn't he?

Still in pretty good spirits, but it's now pitch dark here. We are just a few hundred yards from Goodison and parked up by Stanley Park.
We had a local recovery truck try and start the battery about an hour ago - but they didn't have the right connection on their jump leads!

Looks like the only scousers left are resting in the Cemetry - bit spooky - but at least the latest attempt to restart the battery is underway - only two and half hours overdue!

Joking aside, hope you're underway shortly.
The support did us proud again today. |

And re the cemetery - the dead won't hurt you, its the living you need to look out for!

We have contact! Chocs away, tally ho!
Just time to relive Yannick's goal before we say goodbye to Goodison!

Crikey ! Same scoreline, same problem with coaches getting stuck.
It's a time-warp, isn't it ? |

Progress update: Coach Two now just outside Birmingham but stuck in road works on M6.
I reckon I have spent nearly two days travelling to and from Everton this year. Pretty poor show from the stewards on Coaches 1 and 3 who knew we were in trouble but didn't offer any help. Some people will still have to struggle home when the coach does finally get to Selhurst and then get ofg to work or whatever.

Everton can be a daunting place when they are winning and their players are on form, but between the Palace players and fans we have given them two good games at Goodison now and earned a bit of respect from some of their fans who were good enough to to say so.
