Vardy's strike was at a nice height and wasn't too far wide of him. Should've been a comfortable save.

Should have been an easy save AND his positioning was abysmal.

Recent weeks I've eaten my words on him and he's been decent but yesterday was back to normal - basic, rudimentary errors.

Well what do you think then? You seem to be picking holes a bit.

My opinion is his positioning was shit and made Vardys mind up for him, but still should have saved it.

He may be limited, but his outstanding performance against Chelsea has helped keep us in the premier league. No doubt he could be moved on in the summer, let's get behind the lad whilst he's wearing the jersey.

One hand, less area. More reach yes but you need to be more sure of the flight of the ball. Vardy is very good at that sort of finish, power, curl, and accuracy. I didn't blame Wayne for either goal either at the game or watching the replays.

Hennessey is still our best option as first team keeper , fan's should get behind him and support him instead of picking up on every mistake .

Really ? The second had none of the power, curl or accuracy you mention. It was a straight forward stop for a good keeper and he fluffed his lines. He knew it as well

That said I hold Schlupp equally culpable. Poor defending

He's much better of late. When keepers make mistakes it generally leads to a goal so it's always highlighted. Just the way it is. Doesn't mean people aren't supporting him

At the end the day I've seen both those keepers make errors and let in goals they should have saved. ........It just happens sometimes. Goalies are only human and just like any outfield player are prone to the odd mistake.

I'm dure Wayne will know he could have done better having got to the ball but his form has picked up in recent weeks and all credit to him for that. I think against Arsenal he made a good dive to his right to parry a shot around the post.

I guess virtually the whole team played under par yesterday.

We still fought back to earn a point so well done for that.

Let's hope they all bounce back and regroup for the next game. I'm sure they will. COYP

Wayne maybe should have pushed the second goal off target but look at Cabaye's goal yesterday .... It was within a couple of feet of Schmeichel but went in....Is he shit?
Wayne is the best we have by far and is as good as half the division!

Wayne Hennessey

It's enlightening to read all the feedback from our resident goalkeeping coaches.

It happens. Deal with it. No goalkeeper is perfect.

Hennessey has played very well in the last 6 weeks. Give him a break!

He is nowhere near in the top 10 keepers in this division.

Schmeichel should have done better but I don't really care. I'm more concerned about our keeper who has been at fault for several goals this season.

He's played very well lately, and I'm glad that's he proven me wrong, but he's cost us more points than he's saved this season IMO.

Hopefully against Liverpooo he shows that this weekend was a one off.

His reaction showed he knew he should have done better IMO.

He was gutted he couldn't get his save away.

Some very sensible posts and some of the usual from the Hennessy haters. Vardy is back on form and did that to the top keepers last year. Luckily what happened yesterday for the usual haters had nothing to do with the rest of the team did it? As some have said it is simply ridiculous that one Palace player has every single thing they do ripped apart on here. He might have done better for the second (as could other team members who caused the break) but he is our main chance of staying up as we can't replace Hennessy, homesick Steve or Jules until the summer. And we will need to replace all three.

Second goal could point to Zaha schlupp and hennessy equally
Don't read many criticising Zaha for his pathetic challenge allowing mahrez to set up vardy
