Indeed. And anyone looking at age should consider our Nige and his great season last time round.

Wouldnt think he'd come to Palace to be back up when he could easily get first team football elsewhere.

Shaka Hislop for Palace? Yes please.

Shaka is a quality goalie and would be an ideal number two, and I like to see him challenge Gabor for the first team place.

Bring on the Shak-attack.

a colleague was told by Pardew. West Ham are in the hunt for another keeper, and Shaka s name came up and Alan said from what he s heard he s on his way to Palace.

Every club need s three keepers these day s and maybe there s a possibility Speroni s on his way.

If they've suffered a bit of distress this weekend... good.

Please allow decent Palace fans like c_block_lad his moment of happiness. He's living on the front line, and doing a marvellous job.

Keep the striped flag flying high.

He was better than that dodgy Greek geezer they brought in.

Portsmouth rate him highly, and was sorry to see him be released.

Having seen Pepperoni a few times I reckon we would need the midfield numbers you speak of to all stand along the goal line.

I have seen less jittery rabbits caught in car headlights with a family of hungry foxes waiting to pounce as well!
