Good. Hopefully this means a quicker exit for Corbyn so we can get some damn opposition.

Remember Corbyn loves voting with the Tories, it's the Tory backbenchers they'll be wary off. With a small majority they have power. Both left and right know this. And experienced Tory MPs will lose their seats in the cities to the Lib Dems. But the Tories they will take lots of seats from Labour producing a wave of lobby fodder

I am intrigued to see whether some of the Labour candidates will actively slate Corbyn at the hustings.

Maybe but then those same Labour MPs might well wonder if they'll be-deselected by 2020 so may well take their chance now.

Makes a mockery of the five year fixed term, but that was just a bit of Cameron bullshit anyhow.

Can they really get away with that?

What would be their justification for not wanting a shot at leading the Brexit negotiations (apart from the fact they know they're screwed with Corbyn as the leader).

Now is the time for all remoaners like myself who believe that Brexit is not in Britain's interest to vote for a party that will withdraw Article 50. It will need all remainers to get behind one party regardless of their wider political views, BUT
1. does that party even exist at the moment,
2. could it be created in time for an election on 8 June and
3. would it be able to unite remainers behind it?

Right so can someone please explain to a person who takes little interest in government (when it's tory)

Will the partys stick to there last election manifesto or draw up a new one to sway votes?

Anyway I will be voting for the party that relaxes cannabis laws which is labour and libs.
I usually vote labour but not too keen on that corbyn fella but then again that Farron bloke looks like a wet towel.

Really ? Tim Farron ? I know the Liberals had a very small field to pick from, but dear, oh dear ...

Will be interesting to see UKIP's approach. Anything that undermines the Tories may jeopardise the Brexit juggernaut.

but at the same time a larger Tory majority might jeopardise the type of brexit juggernaut. I mean if May can essentially ignore Davis, Redwood, Davies et al then that's something else.

I would expect UKIP to target any Tories who are not hardcore brexit types. They may well be feeling a little bruised from their experiences in Stoke.

Going to be the most interesting general election in years. Lots of MPs will be bricking it. First time in my life I do not know how I will vote.

Love how remoaners are up in arms about it tough. Despite spending 10 months winging that Theresa May had no mandate.

Going to be an interesting one - Liberals can just campaign on a single issue and they took down a very 'safe' and popular MP in Goldsmith on that issue

I suspect this wont be the first election we will be seeing in the next 2 years

Will depend on how many Labour seats are lost to the Tories compared to how many Tories lose to the Lib Dems.
