should be easy enough win for a government that doesn't know what its doing or where its going on the EU, a prime minister who was supposed to be against Brexit and who doesn't seek to lead opinion but just follows

the saving grace is that Labour will get a new leader

It'll be interesting to see what the the EU does. They could undercut May by dangling soft Brexit like they have wisely dangled Scottish re-entry. Plus the French election comes first, which could change the game. Le Pen would be the end of the EU, Macron and Fillon proof the EU will remain neoliberal, Melenchon some chance it could be reformed on social democrat lines.

This will be like the SPL.

Only one possible winner.

Race for 2nd and 3rd spot more interesting...

Speculation that if May get a larger majority she will face down the hardline Brexit MPs in her cabinet.

Turnout should be huge, do enjoy a general election.

It has only been 10 months since we last voted so it was time to do it again.

I do think that it won't be as easy as the Conservatives want and could see them losing the majority. I can see it being very divisive and pro remain parties doing well. This could leave Theresa May looking sillier than David Cameron last summer.

I have no idea who I will vote for, it will be a tough decision.

I think a lot of people will desert Labour for the Lib Dems but can't see it being enough to gain them actual seats. The Tories are the only ones likely to gain, our only hope is that with a large majority she can ignore the right wing nuts jobs and get some sort of Norway type agreement to leave the EU. If not I fear our future is very bleak.

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson would fit in perfectly.

Can't see anything other than a whopping Tory majority. BNP, sorry, UKIP, are not the force they were and will impact Labour more.

Pro remain parties? Well, that's the Libs. Will they do very well? I think they may in some areas. Labour have only a faint message and a mixed voter core on that matter.

The one reference point we have in a constituency that voted remain but their MP did not is Zac Goldsmith where a 23000 majority was overturned with the campaign by the liberals essentially just the one issue, and Goldsmith was a very popular constituency MP – there will be a lot of nervous MP’s come June.
