So your crazed view of the world is wrong. You claim and many others that FOM and immigration in general has driven down wages and jobs for UK workers.

You are wrong. As you are on so many other factors.

And your solution leaving the EU/SM/CU will deliver nothing but misery for the people you claim to care about.

This is a boring argument now.

A reasonable man's overview of the issue would say that immigration has little or no effect on wages of the lower paid. However, those possibly affected are resident immigrants, not natives.

Decent review here of the 2008 research Biggin, BOE and the Telegraph are quoting here: To view the link you have to Register or Login

Biggon the Bigot didn't answer anything in relation to FOM and wages. Couldn't even explain why larger countries don't have lower wages, which is what that nonsense of migrants bringing down wages would mean. He just gives his usual boring one liners. Heh, he'll probably do it again to prove that he is a total and utter pillock.

By the way the painters I've got doing my flat are Irish. Do racey and others think the Irish should be banned from FOM? Or is it Irish ok for FOM, Poles banned? Funny old logic.

Modest, very modest, and more affecting migrant workers. But far, far less than the impact of a low minimum wage, lack of trade union membership, anti-union laws, austerity politics. All of which should be focused on, but you won't as you like to be the door mat of your betters.

Well Done Dennis Skinner, the man who represents the real Labour party and cares about the people. A very different Labour party to that of Mr Corbyn's

He said: “I’m the only person in this whole Parliament who’s voted against every treaty of the EU and it’s not because I’m anything clever, it’s because I’ve lived long enough to see the whole thing from the very beginning.
speaking yesterday he said

“I was in Parliament in 1970 and by 1971 the Common Market vote was taken. It took power away from me and gave it to the Council of Ministers – that’s undemocratic.

“As a matter of principle for 47 years I’ve done the same thing isn’t that a good thing to be able to say I’ve published it in my manifesto – 13 elections and they voted by over 70% to leave the EU in Bolsover. Real people. Real votes.”

Aye. As Portes put it, the reduction amounts to 1p an hour for a small group of workers. Now, that can mount up of course but the fact remains that the impact is at the margins.

In contrast, the fall in sterling's value as cited by ONS this week is having a much bigger impact on a larger group of people as price inflation outstrips wage inflation.

And Brexiteers response to that? They welcome it. They have dictated (without evidence) that Pound was overvalued.

They promised benefits would come as profit from UK exports increased. They were wrong.

But still, as long as May (or her successor) becomes Supreme Leader then they get what they want.

Denis is a very confused man. As if the class interests of his constituents are in line with the far right of the Tory Party. They are not. This is plain old Stalinism socialism in one country nonsense. He will be dead when his constituents are paying dearly for the economic crash Brexshit will bring on them. And the tearing up of the social clauses of the EU.
