Is a Nintendo 3DS (no longer available for £99.99) worth it?

It's a clever puzzler. If you have a psp, you'll get it for next to nothing though. The 3ds game is a port of the psp game from about 4 years back.

I bought pullblox. Very fun well thought out game. Also got Kirby's Adventure 3D.

But I have to say, Kid Icarus Uprising is just amazing. Arrived this morning and boom as soon as the game loads your waist deep in blowing up demonic floating heads and stuff (well there is a bit of talking and some kick-ass opening credits). The graphics are genuinely awesome and are just as great without the 3D turned on (but then most of the 3DS games are).

The ground based movement could use a little work but I suspect the game was really meant to be used with the Circle Pad Pro. While in flight the game controls where you go and you just control where you aim and moving Pit around (mainly to dodge incoming attacks).

You get a pack of AR Cards with the game. 6 in a pack randomly selected from a starter set of 20. You can get more AR Cards, now, from the Club Nintendo site's Star Catalogue (250 stars). You can make the characters on the cards fight each other using the in game AR option (place 2 cards top to top).

You also get the "new" (I guess) 3DS stand, which can be used with any of the previous DS consoles. It does help while playing. Keeps the 3DS stable and stops the 3D effect going out of focus, as long as you don't start moving around yourself.

They have also allowed proper online play with this game. Which I think is really good. I can see this game working well in Co-op. especially since in game you can fuse weapons to create better long range, support, or melee focused tools of justice.

Overall I would highly recommend this .......even though I am only on the 3rd chapter/level.

After reading up on the Circle Pad, it seems it doesn't remove the need for the stylus in Kid Icarus Uprising. It's only use is if your left handed, and therefore don't want to asign movement to the XYAB buttons.

Still otherwise still a great game.

But each game . Com sells em
Free shipping etc
I know ur against it etc but just sayin it's a good site- reliable
And the games play fine on newly updated 3ds
