Olof Mellberg (Suggestion)


Free agent after being released by Olympiacos.

Now 34, but still a good player. Played in Euro 2012 (but has since retired from international football).

Also just had this fact come through on Twitter

No chance. Mellberg is a quality player who's played at the highest level for years. He wouldn't even consider joining Palace and his wages would also be way out of our league

We offered him a new deal, he chose to take a different one at Sheff Weds
