I though Cole looked amateur and a bit weak in his first fight. He still has some physical growing to do and will get bullied about the ring by someone like Manny.
What surprised me was the Corey didn't throw any kicks. Emerson's head was an easy target for him, almost waist height. Looking forward to next week's fights before I pin a badge on who I think is going to win. Lauzon was always going to be a favourite, he shouldn't even be in there with a big win in UFC already.

Also, i don't think thats fair about what you said about Lauzon. He was put up as a patsy for Jens Pulver to batter on his comeback, that's his only ufc experience, so i think he deserves to be there. It's not as if he's a veteran or anything.

I think Lauzon is too good to be there. He should be a fixture in the UFC already

Matt Wiman was pretty damn good though wasn't he?

Yeah Wilman looked good, probably the only one from last night that has a possability of winning it. Thought both fights were pretty poor affairs. Funny to see Sims get his arse handed to him on a plate.
Next weeks looks promising, i loved Luazons "that was the most technical streetfight i've ever seen" quote

There are some right numpties in the house this year though aren't there? It's true what they say about 'little man syndrome', they're nearly all uber-aggressive.

Yep, Manny being the epitomy of small man syndrome. Strangely enough Corey seemed to be suffering from big man syndrome.
So far what seem to be the best fighters (Lauzon, Wilman and Diaz) seem to be the quietest (with the exception of Manny)

You could well be right. Its hard to tell after just the one fight each. Quote:
