Nor should it

What’s he supposed to do when he’s surrounded by a load of pricks spitting at him and jostling him. Protecting himself I’d suggest. The causation was down to Wigan allowing their fans to get on the pitch.

As a fan if you break the law run on to the pitch, get in a players face threatening and mouthing off, you can’t then start running off to teacher when you get a slap back

Ultimately Wigan failed to protect the players within their stadium, Aguero probably has a case against them

Can you imagine if this happened at The Amex against us? We would probably have to play the next 4 games behind closed doors against the scum.

A good old fashioned pitch invasion to celebrate a monumental win is part and parcel of football. The way man City are going on about it you'd think their fans are little angels.

I'm also surprised they're no longer mourning the death of the late Kevin De byrne.

They used to be a sound club but they're rapidly heading towards wanker status like their bigger neighbours

and if it had been a Palace player (Zaha or Cabaye maybe), what do you suppose would happen to him? Nothing? Or a ban? I know where my money would be!

Well said. I have no problem with fans occasionally celebrating on the pitch at the end of an amazing game/season but threatening or even hassling opposition players is out of order.

Who cares? That doesn’t mean Aguero is in the wrong, the FA would be for unequal treatment.
