Greek lads at selhurst. Panionios Updates
We have got 4 lads from Panionios coming over for the game tomorrow...for those that don't know the HF have a friendship with the ultra group 'Panthers', at Panionios so there's a massive interest in Palace from Athens..It's mad going over there and seeing the amount of Palace shirts/scarves etc on display as well as the demand for merch when they realise which London team you support!
We'll be getting the beers in over the weekend & they'll be in Block B with us; so hopefully it's a top game/day tomorrow with our friends from Athens heading home with nothing but hype about the Palace experience as always! |

Enjoyed seeing the 30-odd from Belgium who came over for the Bristol City game as well.
If people look on lampposts around the ground, you can spot some stickers of ultra groups from European teams who have come over to Selhurst to see games. There's a few up by the Holmesdale Corner as well as down by where the players drive in pre-match.

You'd be suprised at how well the club is known through europe now. Have even had lads from PSG come over to specifically watch a Palace game... ******* insane thought! |

Was it the Danes that came to Millwall?

Last year I was chatting to two Fins that had come over for a match.
They said it was because of Forsell, and of course Aki who got them interested, and then Kuqi. They also mentioned Kolkka. At the time they visisted, we had no Fins in the squad but they maintained their desire to come to one game a year. |

[QUOTE=pauldrulez]Enjoyed seeing the 30-odd from Belgium who came over for the Bristol City game as well.
They were a funny bunch. They all looked 6 foot plus, barring 1 little fella who looked like mini me. And the politest bunch of "fanatics" I've seen. Spoke to one of the guys, who was sweating his nuts off, who told me "yesss, we have had the fun with the Brissstol guyss".

They should come over for away games. Atmosphere infinitely better.

I remember speaking to this old geeza from Norway in the Clifton once. He said he tried to come fly over to England for around 2-3 games a season (more than some people who live locally I might add).
He had a Palace shirt on, pin badges and was reading the programme in every detail. He gave us a bottle of Underberg each as well. F*cking hell, look it up. It tastes like medicine!

Are they normal enthusiastic football fans or are they from the 'negative headline making' Ultras type groups?

What an honour to have people coming to Selhurst from all over the world! We should get as many people to welcome them as possible, and show them why Palace’s support is recognised up and down the country as the best in the league!
